Requirements / organisational issues
After a brief introduction to the methods of empirical social research, this seminar will focus on reading in the course of life. On the one hand, current theoretical texts will be read and on the other hand, relevant studies will be presented and critically analysed. In the course of the seminar, the participants will get an overview of the available findings on the reading process as well as in the area of reading socialisation, get to know relevant studies and further sources of information on the topic and learn how to deal critically with empirical studies and their interpretations.Dates
