In modern societies, books play an outstanding role in the subjective and social formation of meaning. In the seminar, we learn how to empirically investigate the conscious and unconscious understanding behaviours. The seminar focuses on the empirical methodologies of surveys, observations and experiments. Social science and psychological methods complement each other. Students learn how to set up, conduct and evaluate an empirical study.Dates
