Contents

This course offers an introduction to text analysis tools applied in Digital Humanities research and Python programming for data analysis and visualization.
The goals of this course are

  1. to understand basic concepts and the differences between unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data
  2. to develop familiarity with a range of data formats and a variety of digital tools to create, organize, explore, and compare data
  3. to analyze and visualize different datasets via Python
